Year 11 Celebration Day
Year 11 students recently enjoyed their Celebration Day, marking the end of the 2024 year with a day of fun and relaxation. The event was held in the heart of Melbourne's vibrant CBD, providing students with a well-deserved break and a chance to strengthen bonds with peers and teachers outside the classroom.
The day kicked off with ten-pin bowling, where students showcased their competitive spirit in a lively and enjoyable setting. The activity brought laughter and friendly rivalry, creating memorable moments for all involved.
After bowling, students explored Melbourne Central, engaging in some retail therapy and enjoying the diverse shopping options on offer. Whether browsing unique boutiques or visiting flagship stores, the group made the most of their time in the bustling city.

School Captains' Leadership Training Day
The School Captains' Leadership Training Day was a transformative experience designed to empower and equip student leaders with the skills needed to excel in their roles in 2025. The day emphasised the importance of leadership, communication, and responsibility in shaping a vibrant McClelland community.
Workshops focused on key areas such as effective team management and leadership qualities and styles. Through engaging activities and collaborative challenges, participants learned the value of teamwork and the significance of leading by example.
The event concluded with a vision-setting exercise, where students outlined their goals, aspirations and key events for the school year ahead. The training day not only strengthened their confidence but also fostered a sense of unity among the captains, preparing them to lead with integrity and enthusiasm.
