2025 Swim Camp

The 2025 swimming season is off an racing beginning with an action-packed three-day camp in Noosa. Throughout the camp, the girls put in solid training sessions in the pool while also enjoying a variety of activities, including a scenic walk over the Noosa headland, a beach swim, high ropes challenges, zip lining, and some fiercely competitive cricket matches back at camp with the Padua boys.

METROPOLITAN (REPRESENTATIVE) SPORT PATHWAY

Mount Alvernia College falls under two districts leading into the regional team – Met North, and then through to Queensland School Sport.

Our 10 – 12 years students compete for North District, and our 13-19 years students the North West Independent District. 

 

Students wishing to nominate must meet the following criteria:

  • You must be in the correct age bracket. 
  • You must be playing the sport at an A level at school or at a high club level.
  • Students should also consider that they may be bottom age e.g. a 12 year old turning 13, in a 13-15 year age group

Information regarding upcoming trials can be found on our Met North Representative page on MyMtA (Cocurricular, Sport, Met North Representative Page). It is up to the student to send their trial information to the sports office by the cut off date. Further information will be then provided to those that meet the criteria. Students cannot apply directly to the District.
