Dear Parents, Guardians, Carers,
As the year draws to a close, we want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible learning journey we’ve shared with your children and celebrate their achievements. It has been a privilege to watch them grow, challenge themselves, and engage deeply with their learning.
In Literacy, students have been exploring the art of reading with expression and phrasing. Through practice and play, they have brought characters to life, giving voice to stories and enhancing their fluency. They also unleashed their imaginations by writing from the perspective of a virus—a creative task that saw them stepping into a microscopic world to tell stories from a unique and fascinating point of view.
In Numeracy, we navigated the world of coordinates and grid systems, helping students understand how to locate, describe, and navigate positions in space. This hands-on exploration sharpened their spatial thinking and problem-solving skills.
It has been a joy to see how engaged and enthusiastic the students have been in their learning this term. Their creativity, curiosity, and hard work are a testament to their growth this year.
As we head into the holiday season, we want to express our heartfelt thanks for your support and partnership throughout the year. Your encouragement at home has been instrumental in your child’s success.
We wish you all a safe, restful, and joyful holiday season. To our students, we hope you enjoy your well-earned break, filled with laughter, fun, and the opportunity to dream about the adventures that await in the new year.
Thank you for an incredible year of learning and growth. We look forward to seeing you again next year!

Wow, what a year! To better state that- what a GREAT year! We have covered a lot of material and participated in many fun and exciting projects. We started to develop skills needed for high school and we are ready for the next chapter of our lives. Each of your children has brought such joy and happiness to our classrooms. We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful group of children this past year. They all have touched our lives and this school year in very positive and rewarding ways. We hope as the years go by that they keep in touch. It has been our pleasure getting to know not only your child, but you as well. Having parental support and open lines of communication is an essential part of any successful school year. Thank you for all you have done to make our year so fulfilling and memorable.
We look forward to seeing you all and celebrating the years of primary school at Graduation on Thursday night. We wish you all a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and all the very best as the grade 6 students of 2024 embark on their high school journey!
