The distribution of School Saving Bonus emails to parents and carers, to provide a unique code to use for the $400 credit, started on Tuesday 26 November 2024.
Due to restrictions imposed by Microsoft, parents and carers with email accounts provided by a Microsoft exchange server, or who use an Outlook or Hotmail account, have likely experienced delays in receiving their code email.
The department have worked directly with Microsoft to resolve this issue and have re-sent the code to impacted email addresses.
Parents and carers who have not received their code email, please re-check their email accounts, including junk or spam folders.
Next steps
To ensure all eligible families receive the School Saving Bonus, the implementation team is crosschecking 2025 enrolment information (as at Tuesday 10 December 2024) against the School Saving Bonus code emails distributed to date.
Any eligible families not allocated the code in the first instance will be picked up in this process and emailed their code during December 2024. This includes distributing codes for students enrolled at the 6 schools opening in 2025.
Today we held our final MacqLit session for the year, although it looked a little different! We had a celebration in the park with some Freddo Frogs and bubbles.
Yesterday our 5/6 students went on their annual big bike ride. It was a raging success and the weather was magnificent. The students rode all the way to Dight Falls and Fairfield Boathouse for lunch, covering 22kms during the journey. Thank you so much to the parents who attended the ride and also the teachers for making it such a great success. It was amazing to see some students who weren't very confident at all at the beginning of our bike ed program being able to cover the whole 22kms by the end of the course. We are very proud of all the students for their great work!
Thanks, Chris.
