BIG PICTURE

ACADEMY

Big Picture has a Big Heart

On Tuesday 26th November the Year 12 Big Picture Academy held a fundraiser for the Hunter Valley Animal Facility and Rehoming Centre. As part of the IBPLC, leading change through a Social Action Project is integral. Year 12 student Darcy-Lee Scoles is participating in a Learning Through Internship at this rescue facility. As a result, she  decided that her Social Action Project would raise much-needed funds and pet donations for this worthy cause. On the day there was a sausage sizzle and a variety of home made goods. The day was a huge success which saw $1066 raised for this rescue facility. We are still collecting donations until 6th of December. The Big Picture Advisory should be so proud of this amazing result as it was a group effort that achieved success as a result of thier ability to work together to achieve success. Nikki Ladas from Big Picture was present on the day and was impressed with the amazing work the students are doing in this educational pathway.
