Parent Support Group

For some families, the school journey can feel a little trickier when extra support is needed. To help everyone feel connected and encouraged, almost 50 fantastic parents have come together to create a friendly WhatsApp group called Embrace Together! This Parent Support Group is a caring community made especially for families of children with additional needs. It’s a safe and welcoming space where parents share ideas, lift each other up, and celebrate every achievement—big or small. 

Guided by Inclusion and our HERBBBY values, parents, staff, and students have teamed up to spread kindness and awareness across GPS. Together, they’ve already enjoyed some amazing moments—like a couple of students meeting Dylan Alcott! They’re also busy planning next year’s Ability Day, which will be part of HERBBBY Week all about different abilities, inclusion, and empathy. Most importantly, they’ve built a joyful community where parents and students feel supported, understood, and proud to belong.
