Year 3/4 Learning Reflection

Welcome back to all our Grade 3/4 students and families! We hope you had a wonderful break and enjoyed some special time together. It’s been lovely to see the students return with big smiles and lots of enthusiasm.
In 4A, we have established a routine where students enter the classroom, sit down, and begin their Do Now: five minutes of independent reading to help them settle and prepare for the day.
In 4B, students are building connection and confidence by bravely sharing their work with peers and helping mark the roll, responding to one another with friendly greetings.
3B have been learning what it means to be fluent readers and how to show active listening during our daily paired fluency lessons.
Grade 4 students have been learning how to use their grid books and how to display their thinking clearly. 4B played multiple rounds of a skip-counting race game, making sure each number was written neatly in its own box.
3A creating their big, strong wrestlers to promote our school values of Courage, Commitment, Connection and Collaboration.
