It has been lovely to see all our students return having grown much taller. We also welcome our new students. 

Prep Nurse School Program

The Primary School Nurse Program is a free program offered by the Department of Education to all prep students. The program aims to assist in the early identification of children with potential health and development related learning difficulties.

Today, Prep students will come home with an envelope. Families will be asked to register, give consent and complete an online health questionnaire by Friday 20th February. This ensures that your child can be seen at a later date when the school nurse comes to our school. 

Smile Squad

The Smile Squad team from Cohealth are coming to our school soon.

Smile Squad is the Victorian Government free school dental program. Any Student enrolled in a Victorian Government PS are eligible.  This means all students can get a free dental check-up, preventive services, and treatment at school Annually.

Smile Squad will be attending Sunshine Heights mid March.

We need your consent before we can provide services. Consent is usually provided by a parent or guardian.

Volunteers

Our school is incredibly fortunate to have a dedicated group of volunteers who support us in many valuable ways — from running Breakfast Club and supervising Lunchtime Library sessions, to attending excursions and incursions, helping with Weekend Gardening, and much more. Many of our programs simply would not be possible without the generosity of our volunteers, and we are truly grateful for the time and care they give.

We are currently seeking additional volunteers to help keep our Library open during lunchtimes and to support Breakfast Club. If you are able to assist and hold a current Working With Children’s Check, please contact Vicki McMahon or speak with the office.
