Psychology & Counselling
The school psychologists would like to extend a warm welcome to all students returning in 2026, and especially to our new Year 7 students and their families.
For those who may not be aware, Mazenod is supported by a team of five psychologists. Tayla Chellew, Rebecca Ferrarotto, and I provide student counselling in Tempier House (located behind the Chapel). Suzana Cunha and Chorky Cheung are based in the Penola Centre, where they conduct psychoeducational assessments that help inform learning accommodations, adjustments, and targeted interventions.
We recognise that transitioning into a new school year—or a new school—can be challenging. As Father Harry shared at the Friday morning welcome assembly, we are all in this together. You are surrounded by a community of people who care about you and are here to support you throughout your journey at Mazenod.
