Student Leadership

Junior School Leadership update

We are thrilled to share that our student leaders have been diligently meeting on a regular basis, enthusiastically planning a variety of clubs and activities for our junior campus. Among the new initiatives is the Art Club, which has recently started and is already sparking creativity and excitement among students. his new addition complements our well-established Games Club, providing students with diverse opportunities to connect and build community outside of the classroom. The Art Club and future clubs are the direct result of a survey conducted among Year 7 students, whose valuable feedback has guided the creation of these programs.

Additionally, we recently hosted our Year 6 into 7 (for 2025) Information Evening, an important event for prospective Year 7 students and their families. Our student leaders played a big role in this event, guiding the guests on a comprehensive tour of our school. Our school captains began the evening by acknowledging the traditional custodians of the land, setting a respectful and welcoming tone. A highlight of the evening was Munazza’s confident and eloquent explanation of our school logo. This evening not only showcased our school’s facilities but also highlighted the leadership and pride our students take in their roles. Well done and thank you for your suppo, Ishmay, Mreedula, Munazza, Mehal, Oakley, Aarza and Vini.

I look forward to continuing my work with our dedicated team of Junior School Student Leaders as we develop more initiatives that enrich our school community. Together, we will keep striving to create an engaging and supportive environment for all students.

Kind regards,

Elyshia Sheldon
