Our Year 6 students were invited to create a piece of writing about ANZAC Day and what it means to them.

Five outstanding entries by Finley, Nina, Callum, Lucy and Josh (photographed) were selected to be submitted for the annual Anzac Day Primary School Writing Competition run by Laura Gerber MP, State Member for Currumbin. These entrants will receive a signed certificate from Laura Gerber MP and Finley was selected to read his submission at the school ANZAC Day Ceremony.

Please read these extremely well-written and thoughtful pieces of writing as we take the time this week to honour and commemorate the ANZAC spirit.
