News and Notices

Cross Country

Our recent cross country was a spectacular showcase of The Tally Way.  Throughout the day, there were countless instances of children encouraging and supporting each other and our student leaders and captains absolutely shone in their roles.

Participation and competition was outstanding.  Congratulations to our place getters, age champions and the winning house, Dwyer!  There's more about this event in Sport News.

Thank you to all parents and caregivers who attended!

ANZAC Day

Our Anzac Day ceremonies for Years 1 - 2 and Years 3 - 6 were held on 24 April 2024.  They were respectful services, supporting children to understand this significant event and the ANZAC spirit. Our student leaders and selected seniors did an outstanding job of leading the ceremonies, coordinated by Mrs Stockbridge.

Prep students discussed ANZAC Day in their classrooms to develop their understanding in an age-appropriate way.

On ANZAC Day, school representatives participated in the march at Currumbin.

Mother’s Day Stall

A friendly reminder that the final day to pay for Mother’s Day stall items is Friday 3 May.  Please place your Qkr order by then to avoid disappointment as late orders will not be possible.  Details were provided to parents and carers via ClassDojo.

Thank you to our wonderful P&C for providing this service to our families!  It’s a very special opportunity for children to express love and appreciation for special people to them.

We encourage families to please contact our office if they are experiencing financial difficulty.

Communication Tip

ClassDojo is our main form of communication with families and documents shared on ClassDojo can be saved for future reference.  We provide a lot of information to keep families informed (e.g. term calendars, curriculum overviews, extra-curricular offerings and date claimers) and you may want to save these PDFs in your files or as an internet bookmark for easy future reference.
