Student Learning- 1/2

In 1/2S we have been comparing 2 activities and which one would take longer. We had to guess before we tested it to get our actual result. We have also been learning about calendars and creating our own. 

In 1/2T we have been using a fun warm- up game called Place Value Pebbles where we roll digits to build a number to place on a number line. Sadly, 1/2T were defeated by Susie but their determination is strong! It was great seeing them use their problem solving and reasoning skills to determine where to place each number.

This week, 1/2K has studied different aspects of the Fourth Dimension (time). We have created a sundial and made timetables, calendars and timelines.
