Mother’s Day Breakfast
What an incredible morning we had at our Mother’s Day Breakfast! It was wonderful to see so many of our mummas, special people and children coming together and celebrating the morning. A big thank you to our team of Dads who lent a helping hand, and our 1/2 Parent Representatives who played a crucial role in organising the event. It truly takes a village to make these events happen, so we are deeply appreciative!
Shout Out
We are incredibly grateful to the local businesses that generously donated goods and services for our Mother's Day Raffle, making it a special occasion for our winning mums! We encourage our families to support these businesses by choosing local whenever possible.
Beauty with Sorcha – Sorcha is one of our amazing mums here at the school with Casey in Year 4 and Jameson in Year 2. She's your go-to expert for all things beauty, offering everything from nails and spray tans to lashes, massages and more! We all deserve to feel pampered and Sorcha will definitely make you feel like a million bucks—guaranteed!
Immi Dumplings – Located on Main Street in Mordialloc, Jo and her team at Immi have created a fun, vibrant venue that dishes out some of the most delicious food around! Think dumplings, potstickers, baos and beyond, there's plenty to excite your taste buds. Be sure to try their 'Famous Chilli Oil'—it's a must! Head on over for what's guaranteed to be a fantastic night out.
Mates – Also located on Main Street in Mordialloc (how lucky are we in Mordy!), Mark has developed an incredible business that's not just a fantastic spot for parent nights but also offers an amazing selection of beers and other drinks to take home. They've even kicked off a Trivia Night on Tuesdays that we hear is hiliarious, so consider Mates for your next gathering!
Bodi Therapy - Katherine has branched out and is now operating from her home salon in Keysborough. Drawing on her extensive experience from her senior role at Endota in Mordialloc, she ensures that every client leaves feeling absolutely zen. A massage is not just good for the body but also for the soul, so do yourself a favor and make an appointment!
Cuda Bros – A bayside institution on Lower Dandy Road, Mordialloc, Joe and the crew at Cuda Bros offer stunning flowers at nearly half the price of their competitors! Their blooms are always incredibly fresh and they also stock lovely candles and potted plants—ideal for those perfect last-minute gifts! Check them out soon!
SOHO Café – Nothing is too hard for Paul and his team at SOHO Café, located on Warren Rd, Parkdale. Whether it's a quick pitstop before or after your kids' sports activities, these guys are always there for you and provide that perfect hit of caffeine. Plus, they offer a fantastic selection of pre-prepared meals, making those late-night dinners a breeze!
Brunos Chicken – We are so ‘clucky’ to have these guys in town! Marcel and his team have got all your chicken cravings covered. Their chips are downright irresistible and their salads are simply divine. They have already fed many of our families and will continue delighting taste buds in the future. You can dine in store or take home and sneak more of your kids’ chips!
Glow Lash Artistry – Located in Parkdale, is where Amanda, a talented lash technician, works her magic to give you long, full lashes! F-4 Disco!! Friday 24 May
The F-4 Disco is next week on Friday 24 May from 5.30pm to 7.00pm. Tickets are still available to purchase via CDF Pay for $10 per child. Chips and a drink will be provided at the end of the event.
We'll soon send out a link for kids to vote for their favorite song. After tallying the votes, we'll wrap up the evening with our very own 'Top 3 Countdown.' Which song will come out on top? Stay tuned!
Trivia Night – Saturday 15 June - Tables have all been allocated!
We encourage all people to book if they know they are on a table, so we know if we have spare seats…or if any captains know they have spare seats then please let Tracey know ASAP.
If you missed out altogether can you also let Tracey know and we will see if we can do anything about extra tables but the space is tight!
