Parents and Friends Afternoon Tea

On Monday 29 April we held our first meeting of the year with a welcome afternoon tea which was open to all parents and care givers. It was great to see some new faces and not only welcome them to the P&F but into our WVPS Community. 

We discussed the different fundraising activities that the P&F oversee. Coordinating bookclub, running Mother’s Day and Father’s Day stalls and creating amazing raffles. If you are interested in being involved, we will be holding meetings once a month on a Monday. Our next meeting will be in May (date to be confirmed). 

A huge thank you to Mr McClelland for facilitating the meeting and to Ms Bebend for creating a scrumptious afternoon tea.

Mothers Day Stall

Our Mother’s Day Stall will be held: 

Thursday 9 May for grades 3, 4, 5 & 6; and 

Friday 10 May for Foundation,1 & 2. 

We have a variety of gifts for the kids to purchase. There will be plenty of pink, as well as gifts for grandparents and those other special people in our children's lives. Gifts range from $1 to $5.

We are still desperately looking for helpers for both Thursday and Friday. If you can spare an hour (or more) of your time please email wyndhamvaleps.pfa@gmail.com. The kids get super excited when they see their mum/dad/grandparent helping out at school.

Billy G's Cookie dough 

This term we are running our annual cookie dough fundraiser and it’s not too far away. So get your taste buds ready, talk to family and friends, neighbours and sporting clubs and get them ready to help you fundraise for our school. Ordering details will be sent home in the next couple of weeks with details on how to create your account and place your orders. 

Online ordering will be open from 27 May to 13 June. Orders will be delivered to school on 27 June and all tubs will need to be picked up by 4pm as they can not be stored at school.
