As we head into the final term of the school year, we want to thank you for your ongoing partnership and support over Term 3.
Supporting Student Health and Safety
We would like to remind families that all school policies are available via the school website. One particularly important policy is the Anaphylaxis Policy. We urge all families to ensure that any medical needs for their child are clearly and promptly communicated to the school. If your child has a medical condition such as anaphylaxis, asthma, or other allergies, it is essential that we have up to date management plans and that any required medication is provided to the school. This allows us to work together in prevention and risk minimisation, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all students.
READY
We continue to embed our school-wide behaviour model READY:Respect,Equipped for learning,Arriving on time,Device away,Your best self.
This consistent approach sets the foundation for high quality learning by ensuring all students are prepared and in the right mindset to succeed each day. We are pleased to see a continued increase in the number of students earning positive READY tags each term, which is a testament to their commitment to personal growth and learning.
Our staff professional learning focus this term was Leading with Empathy, inspired by the work of Adam Voigt. Teachers have been working collaboratively in teams to explore how we can better connect with and support students by asking thoughtful questions and fostering stronger partnerships. It has been inspiring to see this work deepen our positive classroom culture and trust across the school.
Pride in School Uniform
While we understand the challenges that came with colder weather in Term 3, we did notice a slip in uniform compliance. Wearing our uniform with pride is an important part of school culture and identity, and we expect all students to be in full school uniform daily. If you require assistance or support with uniform items, please do not hesitate to contact the college on (03) 9531 9566.
It was been a full and productive Term 3, and we are so proud of the growth, effort, and positive energy across our school community. From classrooms to the yard, it has been wonderful to see students stepping up, supporting one another, and making the most of every opportunity. As we begin the final term of the year, we are excited to finish strong and make the most of this important time.
Regards,
Steph Pearce and Marc Favre
