Learning and Curriculum Primary - Stage 3

Public Speaking
On Monday 8 September, we proudly hosted the annual Inter-School Public Speaking Competition, welcoming students from Santa Sabina’s Gioia House for an inspiring morning of eloquence, insight, and courage.
The event was adjudicated by former Deputy Headmaster, Mr Michael Robson, whose thoughtful feedback and deep experience added great value to the occasion. Students captivated the audience with speeches on a diverse range of thought-provoking topics, including The Power of Nature, The Power of Education, The Power of Words, and The Power of Resilience.
Each speaker demonstrated exceptional poise and passion, making the adjudication process a challenging one. A special congratulations goes to Matteo Salvo, Alexander Poleschouk, and Alexander Guirguis, who advanced to the impromptu round — a true test of quick thinking and articulate expression.
We commend all participants for their hard work and bravery in stepping up to the podium. Events like these remind us of the importance of student voice and the incredible potential of young minds to influence, inspire, and lead.
