WOW, what an exciting week it has been for us all! Obviously the jewel in the crown, or should one say, Aladdin's Cave, has been the whole school production. In the past few months, the school has been abuzz with everything Aladdin, and this week students got to see all their hard work come together. Here's a snapshot of Tuesday's rehearsal day.
Year 3 Thoughts and Feelings re The Production
Yesterday, the whole of LPS went to the Aladdin production. We all had so much dancing and watching. My favourite characters were the genie, Aladdin and Jasmine. It was nerve-wracking but it was a blast. All the characters were incredible. They all have amazing voices and I loved watching them perform. Charlie
On Tuesday we had the dress rehearsal. Everyone had to play a part. I played in High Adventure and we were excellent. We had to memorise all the moves. We had swords but not real ones. We all had to battle and try not to hit each other. Kai.
On Tuesday everybody in LPS went to RSC to do a practice performance for our show Aladdin. It was really fun watching and hearing everybody sing especially Jasmine. I loved her voice. Everybody was doing great, especially the Preps. They did amazingly for their first performance. I was really nervous to go on stage because all the A-K students were watching but we did great we had fun. Chloe.

I had so much fun doing our rehearsal for Aladdin. I had fun getting to watch A-K because they were amazing and we got to see everybody perform and sing. When I performed I was so nervous but excited at the same time. Riley
It was really fun and exciting to put the costumes on and perform in front of the audience. I was really nervous at first but I had a great time. Maddy
It was really cool to get to watch other people while they were performing, and to finally get to perform on the stage. I was really nervous the first time, to do the dance in front of a lot of people but it was lots of fun and I wasn't nervous once the show started. Chloe
I was a bit nervous and excited on Wednesday when we got ready to do the performances but it was really fun getting to do it and watch other people on stage as well. The effects and the fog were really cool! Justin
