Congratulations

Well done to Chloe Dux who competed in State Athletics last Wednesday the 1st of November at Lakeside Athletics Stadium.

Chloe progressed through multiple stages of the competition to receive an invite to compete at the highest level being 'State'.

She competed in the 11-Year-Old Girls Shot Put, and performed exceptionally well.

Her third throw was her biggest throw, achieving a new PB -10.00m. She ended up placing 3rd in the State and the photos say it all. Well done Chloe!  We're all so proud of your efforts.

T20 Cricket Day

We had 6 teams of Grade 5/6 students represent Kalinda at our District T20 Cricket Blast Day. It was perfect conditions for a day of cricket, with blue skies and sunshine! We played at Yarra Valley Grammar and each team played three games against other schools in our area, plus a final. Our Boys 1 team made it to the playoff final and our Girls 1 & 2 teams had to play off against each other in the final! This shows how much talent we have here at Kalinda! Well done to everyone who took part. The smiles on everyone’s faces were evidence of a fantastic day had by all!

Thank you to those parents and volunteers who gave up their time to assist and make the day possible.
