Transition times for 2024 enrolments

Please note the sessions for 2024 Foundation enrolments are as follows. We encourage all newly enrolled Foundation students to attend these sessions.

Please bring a named hat and a water bottle. 

Session #3 Friday 17th November: 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Session #4 Tuesday 5th December: 10:30 am - 12:00 pm 

Starting date for 2024

Students in Foundation for 2024 will begin their school year as a class on Thursday 1st February. Some will begin their testing on Wednesday 31st January (usually reserved for siblings or other students very familiar with our school) Teachers will be in touch regarding which Wednesday your child will be required to come in for a short time for testing. 

Foundation students do not attend school full-time until the week of 13th March 2024.

New families should now be receiving emails from Kalinda Primary School. Please let us know if this is not the case. In November, Compass login details will also be emailed out. 

Compass

You should have received your compass log-in via email. Compass is used at Kalinda Primary School for things such as attendance ( roll marking and parents can pre-enter absences ) purchasing school photos and you can even email your classroom teacher. We do not send paper permission or paper forms home for events and therefore encourage all families to regularly log in to check for upcoming events which may require permission and payment.

Please contact the school if you have a current Health Care Card as we can apply for CSEF for appropriate fees for you.
