Year 3/4 Visit from local Indigenous artist Tracy Roach

Last Friday, the 3/4 students were lucky enough to have an incursion with local indigenous artist, Tracy Roach. 

Tracy shared a little of her story with us, and shared some of her beautiful artworks. We learned about etching, a traditional art form of the Eastern Maar area, and how to embed meaning using lines and symbols. 

Students then had the opportunity to create their own etchings. 

We are very grateful to have had Tracy visit and share her knowledge with us.
