RAISING MONEY FOR A NEW SPORTS PRECINCT

Dear BSC community, 

As you may know, the SRC has been working with the Principal Team and College Council to develop a Student Sports Precinct at our school. This facility will be built at the back of the school, to the left of the hockey pitch (refer to the aerial image of this location below). 

After receiving feedback from the entire student body on what they would like to see in this precinct, as well as in consultation with the sport and physical education department, the tentative plan is to include: 

• A full-sized basketball/netball court (with interchangeable hoops) 
• A futsal court 
• A volleyball/badminton court 
• A seating/social area 

This will not only be an incredible space for students to enjoy during break times but will be used as a teaching facility for PE and Outdoor Ed classes. It will also allow our school to further connect with the wider community and enhance partnerships with local clubs by providing facilities that can be hired outside of school hours.  

We are extremely excited about this project and are keen to get this underway in order to improve the school’s facilities for students. 

We are seeking support from you, as the wider BSC community, in order to make this happen. We are opening up fundraising and would appreciate whatever you are able to/comfortable donating to help this venture become a reality.
