All Holy Family children are now rehearsing and playing carols in music classes for our combined ‘Christmas Around the World’ Parish Concert on Friday 1st December, 2023 in the school undercroft.

 

The Parish Christmas Concert time at 6.00pm - 7.00pm, commences with the school band followed by the Parish Nativity Drama with carols by Holy Family children.

 

Children are asked to come dressed in Christmas colours of green, red and white.

Parishioner food stalls will be available at 4.45pm.

Kindergarten- Music. Performing Media (Sounds of Different Orchestral Instruments)- Drama- ‘Peter and The Wolf’ and ‘Away in a Manger’ percussion score reading and play.

Students will be able to:

  • Identify instruments by sound. MUES1.1
  • Identify the ways sounds are made by the instruments. MUES1.2
  • Understand the use of mutes and performing techniques to alter the sound of instruments. MUES1.2
  • Identify a known instrument featured amongst other instruments. MUES1.4
