Kimochis - Teach us about Kind Words & Actions 

KG have spent the year with their friends the Kimochis, learning all about using Kind Words and Actions.

Kimochis have taught Kindergarten to use gentle hands and only use words which make you feel happy and safe.

Kimochis are a social emotional program we use at Holy Family to help students with regulating their emotions and synergising with their peers.

 

What do the students say about the Kimochi's? ~

 

- Cloud is my favourite Kimochi because he helps me feel happy as he changes his feeling from sad to happy. Charlie R

- Bella Rose is my favourite Kimochi because she looks beautiful and she is great to hug and cheer me up when I am sad. Chloe L

- Bug is my favourite Kimochi because she has a small baby bug and she makes me so happy when I give her a big hug. Olivia 

- Hugstopus is good to cuddle and helps me to keep me calm - he is a very good listener. Jack B
