STEM and Kitchen Garden
Foundation, Years 1 and 2 learnt about the phases of the moon and how the moon does not change shape but what we see changes!
Year 4 students finished off their chemistry unit by investigating reactions that produce heat (exothermic). Years 5 and 6 learnt about stars and what happens when a star runs out of fuel and the resulting supernova and blackholes.
In the kitchen Foundation students used eggs to make corn fritters and began cutting fruit with safety knives to decorate mini pavlovas. Years 1 and 2 made bread from scratch and made cauliflower soup with the cauliflower harvested last week.
