Google Classroom

Students and parents are encouraged to regularly check the Class of 28 - Careers for important updates, opportunities, and resources to support career planning and post-school pathways. Key information about programs, applications, and events will be posted here throughout the term.

 

Work Experience

Year 10 students have the valuable opportunity to participate in Work Experience throughout the year. This is an excellent way to explore career interests, build workplace skills, and gain real-world insight into different industries. Students are responsible for organising their own placement, with support provided through the Class of 28 – Careers Google classroom and the Careers Advisor.

Yr 11

Year 11 students should regularly check the Class of 27 - Careers for the latest updates on university events, career opportunities, and important information to support post-school planning. New opportunities are added regularly, so staying connected is essential.

Yr 12

Year 12 students should regularly check the Class of 26 - Careers essential updates, application support, and upcoming events. Important information, links, and registration details for all opportunities will be posted here.

 

UAC PIN and Applications Open – 8 April

Year 12 students will begin the university application process on Wednesday 8 April 2026, when applications through Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) officially open. All students have been emailed with essential information.

 

On this date, students will receive their unique 4-digit UAC PIN via email (sent to their NESA-registered email address). This PIN is required to activate their UAC account and begin applying. Through UAC, students can:

  • apply for university courses across NSW and ACT
  • access early entry programs such as the Schools Recommendation Scheme
  • apply for equity scholarships and support schemes.

Students are encouraged to:

  • check their email carefully on 8 April
  • keep their PIN secure
  • begin researching courses and pathways early.

     

Western Sydney Careers Expo – 26 JuneYear 12 students will have the opportunity to attend the Western Sydney Careers Expo on Friday 26 June at Sydney Showground. This is a valuable chance to explore universities, TAFE, apprenticeships, and employment pathways, and speak directly with industry representatives. Permission notes have now been sent via School Bytes.

White Card

Congratulations to the students who recently completed their White Card training. This nationally recognised certification is an important requirement for anyone looking to work in the construction industry and is a valuable addition to students’ employability skills. Our next White Card will be held on Thursday 7 May at school. Students interested in participating can register their expression of interest via this link.

TVET and SBAT Term 2 Update

TVET and SBAT classes will recommence from Monday 20 April. Please note that TAFE NSW does not observe pupil free days, and students are expected to attend all scheduled classes.

 

Students enrolled through Online Campus can continue accessing their course materials during this time, making it a great opportunity to catch up or get ahead.
