Athletics Carnival 2026

This years Athletics Carnival was a standout moment in our school calendar, bringing together students from every year group for a full day of competition, teamwork and school spirit. From the first starter’s gun to the final relay, the atmosphere was buzzing with encouragement and friendly rivalry.

Students gave their all across track and field events—sprints, long‑distance races, jumps and throws. It was fantastic to see so many students stepping outside their comfort zones, trying new events and cheering loudly for their peers.

Our staff were equally enthusiastic, supporting events, keeping everything running smoothly and joining in the fun. The chants echoed across the oval all day, proving once again that our school spirit is as strong as ever.

Congratulations to all participants for their effort and sportsmanship and a special well done to the our age champions and those who achieved personal bests.

Opens Boys Basketball – Macquarie Zone Knockout Round 2

Congratulations to our Opens Boys Basketball Team on their strong performance in Round 2 of the Macquarie Zone knockout competition. The team took on Glenmore Park High School on Tuesday 3 March at Kellyville High School.

In a tightly contested match, the boys went down 58–51. Despite Glenmore Park fielding a noticeably older and taller team, our players demonstrated impressive skill, determination, and fitness, keeping the game close from start to finish.

A special acknowledgement goes to Tom L., who attended and captained the team even while injured and unable to take the court. We also extend our thanks to alumni Zach Papadopoulos and Mustaffa Amirie for generously assisting with refereeing on the day.

Well done to all involved — a fantastic effort!

Sydney West Knockout Girls Touch Football

Our girls delivered a standout performance in last week’s Sydney West Touch Football Knockout Competition, finishing the day with an impressive 7–2 victory over Melomba High School.

The team showed real cohesion on the field, combining sharp passing, strong defence, and clever attacking plays. It was the kind of match where every player contributed, and the final score reflected their hard work and determination.

A well‑earned win and a great display of school spirit. Congratulations to the team — we can’t wait to see what they do next.
