Important Reminder for Parents and Guardians

At Kellyville High School, we are dedicated to providing a calm and focused environment for learning. To help us achieve this, we ask parents and guardians not to call or text students during school hours.

  • Student expectations: Mobile phones must remain switched off and stored away throughout the school day.
  • Policy enforcement: If a student answers calls or messages during class, their phone may be confiscated in accordance with school policy.
  • When your child contacts you: If your child messages to say they are unwell, need to go home, or require something to be brought to school, please call the school office directly rather than replying to them.

For urgent matters, please contact the school office. Our staff will promptly and appropriately pass on your message without interrupting classroom learning.

Medical Information

We also remind families that if your child has any medical conditions, it is essential that all forms are current and returned to the school. Having accurate information allows us to provide the best possible care and respond effectively in case of an emergency.

Student Information

Please make sure your child’s details are always up to date so we can contact you quickly when needed. If you have recently moved house, changed your phone number, updated your email address, or had any other change to your family’s contact information, please email the school so we can update these important records. Keeping your details current helps us support your child and stay connected with you.

School communications

School Bytes (for parents)

School Bytes is a digital platform used by our school to streamline communication and make it easier for parents to stay connected with their child’s learning. Through the parent portal, families can access invoices, make online payments and view permission notes. Parents can access School Bytes by visiting their school’s School Bytes login page, creating an account with the email address registered with the school, and then signing in to view all available information and services.

Sentral (for parents)

Sentral is a comprehensive school management system that gives parents a central place to monitor their child’s progress and wellbeing. Through the Sentral Parent Portal or mobile app, families can view attendance, academic reports, timetables, school notices, and messages from teachers. Parents can access Sentral by going to their school’s Sentral login page or downloading the Sentral for Parents app, then creating or signing in with their registered email to link their account to their child’s profile.

Sun Safety Reminder

As we move into the cooler months, it’s still important for students to stay sun safe during outdoor activities. UV levels can remain high even in winter, so applying sunscreen before school, wearing a hat, and making use of our covered outdoor spaces continue to be simple ways to protect skin from harmful exposure. Maintaining these sun‑safe habits throughout the year supports long‑term health and wellbeing.

Canteen Update

Kellyville High School is pleased to welcome Evette’s Lunchbox as our new canteen operator beginning in Term 2. With more than 20 years of experience in the food and catering industry, this family‑run business brings a strong commitment to fresh, high‑quality meals for our students and staff.

All food will be prepared on-site daily using quality ingredients and will align with the NSW Healthy School Canteens Strategy. Students will be able to purchase items using cash or EFTPOS, and Flexischools will continue to be available for online orders. Existing Flexischools accounts will remain unchanged.

Lunch bags will be available each morning for students placing orders directly at the canteen, and a range of daily specials will be displayed at the counter and updated on Flexischools.

A copy of the new menu is attached for families to explore, along with a Flexischools flyer for those who may wish to set up an account.

We look forward to a great partnership with Evette’s Lunchbox and an exciting new chapter for our school canteen.
