Donation from VISY

Scott Matthew from VISY has kindly donated boxes of aluminum tins of various sizes to contribute to our studies in STEM. This semester grade 3 & 4 are using them to create Solar Energy Spin turbines.  We thank VISY for their kind donation in helping us to prepare and engage our students to be critical thinkers. 

LEGO WIND RACERS Grade.1 & 2 

During our STEM studies on Wind energy: force and motion the grade 1 & 2 students used their creative minds to learn about, compare, design and create a lego racer that uses the force of the wind to travel the furthest. 

FOUNDATION 

The Foundation students have been busy learning about density, sinking and floating. They designed and created a boat. We then tested our creations to see how many molecules/particles (marbles) they could hold to see who's boat would float, meaning they were less dense.
