The Foundation students have been very busy since our last newsletter. They have stayed for a full assembly, participated in the Kaboom Sports afternoon, and ventured into the Kitchen Garden with their buddies. Sully the Sloth has enjoyed spending the weekend with our Student of the Wek and their family. Tracey and I have enjoyed reading about Sully’s adventures in his travel diary.
The Foundation students have enjoyed spending more learning time outside whist the weather has been so lovely.
F-2 Teddy Bear’s Picnic
Wednesday 28th February, 4.45-6.00pm
Everyone will meet in the covered area between the Foundation room and main building where tables and chairs will be set up for families to enjoy their own brought picnic food. Students are not required to wear school uniform and can bring their own teddy to join in with the fun.
At 4.45pm, students will be instructed to go and find the purple bears hidden around the school yard. School leaders and staff will be placed in designated areas to help as required. Once all purple bears have been found, the picnic will begin.
We are looking forward to a fun evening and hope as many families as possible can attend.
Hats and Drink Bottles
Please make sure your child has a hat and drink bottle with them at school.
