Hi, welcome to the Captain’s Corner for Week 6

A lot has happened in the past few weeks. The Senior Unit competed in the Summer Sports competition in Romsey and our teams did very well, including our girls’ team coming 2nd in tee-ball, our cricket team coming 3rd and our mixed volleyball team also coming 2nd. 

Woodend Primary School is sparkling due to our Environmental Leaders organising a Clean Up Australia Day. There will be an in depth look at the rubbish collected in the school in this newsletter.

It is fantastic to see a lot of students using different forms of transportation to school, such as scooters or bikes, rather than getting driven. While the weather is still nice, these forms of transportation not only keep us fit, but are also good for the environment.
