Hindi Reflection

After a few weeks back into Term 1, enthusiasm and engagement has been commendable. Students have seamlessly settled back into the classroom environment. They exhibit a sense of comfort and familiarity, which is crucial for effective learning. The warm and welcoming atmosphere has contributed significantly to their ease of transition.

The students have expressed genuine admiration for the classroom and they are noticeably appreciating the physical space, its arrangement, and the overall ambience of the room. Aesthetics and functionality have played a pivotal role in creating a conducive learning environment.  The students’ curiosity and eagerness to learn new words in Hindi are truly inspiring. They actively participate in vocabulary exercises, pronunciation drills, and language games and their enthusiasm reflects a genuine interest in mastering the language.

This Term students are experiencing a Musical Journey in our Classroom as part of our cultural exploration. I have introduced the melodious sounds of the sitar, which is a traditional Indian stringed instrument, resonating with rich history and artistic expression. Its intricate notes have captured the imagination of our students and they are not only enjoying the music but also immersing themselves in the essence of Indian culture by learning about this ancient instrument which has sparked curiosity and appreciation as they discover the beauty of Indian musical heritage.

The sitar’s harmonious melodies continue to resonate within our classroom, fostering a deeper connection to the world beyond our walls and I'm excited to see how we progress during this Term. 🎶
