Supporting Project Compassion

Each year at St Cecilia's as part of our commitment to our faith during the special church season of Lent, we participate in Project Compassion. This awareness and fundraising campaign supports Caritas, the Australian Catholic Church's major outreach organisation. 

In their classroom students have been learning about some of the remarable projects that Caritas has been able to carry out due to their support and the support of Catholics around Australia, through Project Compassion.

The video below is a great introduction to the work done through Project Compassion and may provide some great motivation for you and your family to support the campaign by making donations throughout Lent, and serve as a great way to engage with your children in a discussion around social justice.
