Diocesan Cross Country
Next Wednesday 9th April will see 36 students travel to Barraba to compete at the Armidale Catholic Schools Diocesan Cross Country. We wish all our runners the best!
Polding Trials
This week Charlotte Steel travelled down to the Sydney Aquatic Centre to compete in the Polding Trials for swimming. She competed against students from other Dioceses in the girls 12/13yrs 50m backstroke. Well done on an amazing achievement to get this far!
Winter Trials
Last Friday students in Year 5 and Year 6 travelled to Sport UNE, Armidale to participate in the Armidale Catholic Schools Winter Trials. The following students were successful in gaining selection and will now compete at the Polding Trials in Bathurst.

Karate
On Saturday 29th March, Xavier (3P) and Fletcher (1W) Vine participated in their karate grading day at Kenpo Kai Karate. Fletcher was grading for his yellow white belt & Xavier for his blue white belt. On Tuesday & Wednesday nights, both boys were presented with their new belts, after grading successfully.
Congratulations Xavier & Fletcher on this outstanding achievement!
Netball
Registrations have closed and all teams are full.
Games will start Saturday May 3.
All games are played inside, or on the outside courts at the Tamworth Sports Dome.
Games for children aged 10 and under are played at 12:00pm.
Games for children aged 11 and over are played at 1:00pm.
Draws, and wet weather information if needed, will be available on the Tamworth Netball Association Facebook page.
All new netball uniforms can be purchased via Compass, in the Canteen Uniform menu.
We will have uniforms available on Friday May 2 at the first training session for parents to look at and purchase from 3:15-3:45pm.
Training is decided by individual coaches. Training is at St Edward’s Primary School starting at 3:15pm. Infants’ children can catch the bus to the Primary.

The Armidale Diocesan Primary Sports Council is a body representative of the Catholic Education Office, Principals and Sports Coordinators from all Diocesan Primary Schools. The ADPSC offers a pathway for Armidale Diocesan students in most sports.
