Beauty and the Beast

Musical Theatre Crew’s Intermediate Ensemble will be performing Beauty and the Beast Jr in October, featuring a number of our students: 

  • Friday Barclay (Year 7)as Monsieur D’Arque & others

  • Hannah Tomlin (Year 8) as Mrs Potts

  • Isobel Denby (Year 9) as Lumiere

  • Mia Cairns (Year 9) as Madame De La Grande Bouche

  • Carla Mione (Year 8) as La Filles De La Ville

The production will run from Friday 24 October to Saturday 8 November at the Peacock Theatre, 77 Salamanca Place Salamanca Arts Centre. MArk it in your diary and keep an eye out for when tickets go on sale.


Calling all Nature Lovers!

Nature. Be in It. is running an exciting Nature Holiday Program during the term break.

Children will have the chance to connect with nature, learn fire-by-friction skills, and explore the outdoors in a fun and hands-on way. It’s a great opportunity for them to build confidence, creativity, and resilience while making new friends.

 


Adventure Ahoy! 

Scouting Open Day will be held on Sunday 4 May from 10.00am to 2.00pm at 1st Derwent Sea Scouts, 5 Marieville Esplanade, Sandy Bay.

Sea Scouts opens up a world of exploration, water adventures, expeditions and a global community of 50 million Scouts worldwide.

For children aged 5-18 years and runs one evening a week during term time.

 


What's Happening at Youth ARC?

 

Youth Arc, located at 1 Market Place in Hobart, is a safe, fun and engaging place for young people aged 12-25 to socialise in a safe, drug and alcohol free space.

Open Access is a drop-in program run on Tuesdays to Fridays from 3.00pm to 6.00pm where people aged 12 - 25 can hang out and meet friends, get involved in a workshop, chat with youth workers and most importantly have fun!

 

Youth Market@YOUTH ARC taking place on Saturday 12 April between 1pm - 5pm featuring some of Hobart's finest hand made goods from a very talented collection of young marketeers. Bring all friends and family to snatch up some incredible pieces and support local emerging creatives.
