Reducing the amount of rubbish we send to landfill each week is a major goal for our community this year. We can do this by recycling many of the items we dispose of.

We are very hopeful that with more discussion, education and support everyone in our community can make a personal commitment to look carefully for the recycling symbol on the item that is to be thrown away. It does require a change in our habits and a second or two to look carefully for the recycling symbol on the item.

Our effort at using the recycling bins correctly last year was unsuccessful. We will be trying again very soon and hope that we can 'nail it' this time!
