Dance Concert

Our whole school Dance Concert Dancing through the Decades is almost here!
The children have been working very hard to learn their dances and we're looking forward to this wonderful whole school event. We've provided a link to your child's dance routine in your Compass News Feed for those children enthusiastic about practising at home.
The Dance Concert will be held at Crossway Baptist Church, 2 Vision Drive, Burwood East.
- Group 1 perform on Monday 12 May; and
- Group 2 perform on Tuesday 13 May.
Students are to arrive and sign in with teachers between 5pm and 5.20pm. Doors open at 5.30pm. The concert runs from 6pm to 7.30pm.
Every student was sent home with a note advising which group they were in at the end of last term. If you’re not sure which group your child is in, please follow up with your child’s teacher so you can purchase tickets for the correct performance. Families with two or more children at EHPS are performing on the same night.
The event notice has been published in Compass. Please note that the charge is for the lessons your child has received at school, their costume, the bus to rehearsal at the venue on Monday and your child's attendance at the concert; it does not include an entry ticket to the concert for other family members in the evening. Payment and consent is due now and not later than Friday 9 May. This activity is eligible for use of SSB. Funds must be allocated to School Activities in the SSB portal by parents/carers, and the required email sent to accounts@essexheightsps.vic.edu.au as requested in the event notice so SSB can be applied.
Tickets are on sale now for family and friends attending the concert:
- Adult – $28
- Concession (Concession tickets can be purchased for children aged 14 years and under, seniors, pension and health care card holders) – $18
Tickets are selling fast! Don’t delay purchasing a ticket for the concert on the night your child/children are performing. Purchase online via Trybooking – CLICK HERE.

Please remember that classes will begin at 10.15am on the morning of Tuesday 13 May to give everyone the chance for a sleep in, after a hectic Monday or a long Tuesday.
