A special design of socks from Bambi mini co have been designed to help sick kids have some brighter days. These super gorgeous socks come with stickers and are available in 2 sizes and colours. The SRC Members will be selling them outside the office at recess for $5 each.
All proceeds go to the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday appeal.
These super socks have helped save Ollie’s life - proceeds donated from Good Friday appeal have given Ollie the opportunity to trial medicines funded by the Royal Children's Hospital and in turn he can now attend school with all his super star peers and receive life saving care.
Give for the kids so they may grow ❤️
POPS hens are laying! We are requesting donations of 1/2 dozen egg cartons. If you have any at home please bring them to the school office.
Thank you in advance! POPS eggs will be sold fortnightly on a Friday at 3:30pm outside the Office. $4 for 1/2 dozen. They are delicious! A reminder notice will be posted on Compass before sale days.
If you would like to care for the POPS hens for a week or two, please add your name to the roster. https://myschoolconnect.com.au/app/volunteer
See the POPS Chook Book (you will receive a copy when you collect the key from the Office) for details such as suitable foods to give the chooks but essentially…
- organise to collect the keys from the school office on a Friday after school or between yourselves.
- Check there is enough food (pellets/mash) and water every 2 - 3 days or daily if you wish.
- If you run out of food there are new bags in the garden shed, your key will open this.
- There are some seeds the hens love in a container in the garden shed – only ½ cup every 2-3 days.
- There are also some egg cartons on top of the old fridge in there if you forget to bring one.
- Scoop out any mess from the laying boxes/hutch and put it in the bin just outside their hutch for composting. If you need more straw there is some in the shed too.
- Collect and enjoy the delicious eggs 😊
The hens love fresh scraps from your kitchen! The chook key opens the garden shed and also the veggie garden – you are welcome to water, harvest or weed the garden too!!
