TRIBES Harmony Day - 24th March

On Monday, March 24th, we held our first TRIBES session of the year! Each teacher has their own Tribe, bringing together students from all year levels to connect and celebrate our wonderful POPS community. Our Year 6 students did an outstanding job leading the session with the support of their TRIBES teachers. It was a fantastic start to what promises to be a great year of teamwork and collaboration!

Our first TRIBES session focused on Harmony Day, where we explored its significance and the many ways we can celebrate the diverse cultures within our community. As part of our learning, we read My Two Blankets by Freya Blackwood, a touching story about inclusion and belonging.

Each student then decorated a peace dove with colors, foods, and flags representing their culture. These doves will be proudly displayed as a symbol of how we are Flying Together in Harmony at POPS!
