Learning Behaviour Reports and Student Learning Conferences

As we continue to move through Semester 1, 2025, we would like to update you on Learning Behaviour Reports and the upcoming Student Learning Conferences.

Learning Behaviour Reports

Learning Behaviour Reports for students in Years 7–12 have recently been published via SPACE. These reports offer valuable insights into students' learning habits, including areas of strength and potential improvement. We encourage all families to review their child’s report before the Student Learning Conference.

Benefits of Accessing Learning Behaviour Reports:

  • Gain a clear understanding of your child’s learning behaviours and attitudes.

  • Identify areas of strength and where additional support may be needed.

  • Track progress over time, helping to set and achieve learning goals.

  • Prepare for Student Learning Conferences (SLCs) by having evidence of progress and areas for discussion.

  • Stay informed about your child’s development and learning journey.

To access the reports, please log in to SPACE using your registered email. If you have forgotten your password, follow the prompts on the login page.

Student Learning Conferences

Bookings for the Student Learning Conferences are now open. These conferences, previously known as Parent-Teacher Interviews, provide an opportunity for families to engage with teachers and discuss student progress, achievements, and next steps in learning.

Benefits of Student Learning Conferences:

  • Develop open communication between teachers, students, and families.

  • Allow students to take ownership of their learning by discussing their progress directly.

  • Provide an opportunity to identify strengths, challenges, and set clear learning goals.

  • Encourage collaboration between home and school, supporting the student’s development.

  • Strengthen the relationship between families and the College, building a supportive learning environment.

Families can choose between online or face-to-face SLC options:

  • Online via Microsoft Teams: Tuesday, 29 April, 4.00 pm – 6.00 pm

  • Onsite (Face-to-Face): Wednesday, 30 April, 2.30 pm – 8.30 pm

Bookings will close at 2 pm on Monday, 28 April 2025. To secure your preferred time, please book promptly.

For families new to the College, step-by-step instructions for booking conferences and accessing reports can be found via the links provided above. Should you encounter any difficulties, the College Office is available to assist.

Microsoft Teams and Online Student Learning Conferences

This year, we will be using Microsoft Teams instead of ZOOM for Online SLCs.

When a booking is made:

  • A calendar invite will be sent to the email address of the person who has made the booking and the student for whom the booking is for.

  • In the invite will be a link to each teacher's Team meeting to be accessed on April 29th.

Your continued involvement in your child’s learning makes a meaningful difference. We look forward to welcoming many of you to our Student Learning Conferences and working together to support your child’s progress.
