Junior School

With Term 1 coming to an end, the students in Grade 1/2L took the last week to reflect on their learning over the term. 

Our Inquiry Learning focus this term as been on Personal and Aboriginal Culture, where the students took a deep-dive into different aspects of the Aboriginal Culture.  Together, the students asked a series of questions relevant to our topic and explored these through art, song and story-telling. 

With a big focus on Dream Time Stories, the students worked as groups to select one story and re-tell it.  They were encouraged to take inspiration from all they have learned to creatively present their chosen story and they did an incredible job!

Using their collaboration, creativity and knowledge, the students retold the stories of Tiddalik the Greedy Frog and The Rainbow Serpent.
