FUN RUN

We raised a WHOPPING $5,363.00!

The prizes have been finalised and will be sent to LCS soon. Hopefully students will have their prizes in around 2-3 weeks. Thanks again for supporting this fundraising event.

SOCCER

The Grade 5/6 students recently competed at the Interschool Soccer Competition in Moama and had great time. They should all be proud of their efforts and achievements. Thanks to Dan Portwine for coaching the boys team and thank you also to those who were able to come along and cheer the teams on.

The Prep-2 students have also enjoyed learning new soccer skills, along with some skipping to help get warmed up for their PE sessions.

Indonesian News

We are very excited to welcome Aaron and Nita from 'Bagus kan' on Tuesday June 3rd to our Indonesian Day this year. Nita, a native from Yogykarta and her husband Aaron, are both accredited Indonesian teachers who specialise in engaging and fun cultural incursions. Throughout the day, Aaron and Nita (and staff) will be running a variety of hands-on workshops including traditional Indonesian dance, Gamelan (playing instruments) and Art. We are also hiring the very popular 'becaks' - traditional Indonesian bikes, to ride around throughout the day. Students will finish the day showcasing their skills learnt, with a special whole school performance that we would love families to come along to see. More information will be sent out closer to the date.

Here are some pictures of the students in Indonesian class lately.
