Persuasive Writing

We have been giving our opinions on different topics and supporting them with reasons in order to try and convince others to share our opinions. Using the mentor text 'I wanna iguana' we consider some of the different things that we want, why you want them or deserve them and who our target audience would be. 

Responsible Pet Ownership

This week we were lucky enough to participate in an incursion, where we learnt how to be responsible pet owners when handling dogs.

Some things we learnt were:

• When a dog wears a yellow and red colour it means they are dangerous.
• You should always ask the owner for permission before touching thier dog.
• If a dog runs up to you, stand still and look at the ground. Don't run or they might chase you.
