Learning in J09

In J09, we are models of our school values! 

J09 has had a fantastic start to Term 2. Our first few weeks back have been busy revising school values, routines and transitions as well as recapping all the amazing learning we did in Term 1.  

This Term we were very lucky to welcome Ms Coxon, Miss Fearn and Miss Hayley to our classroom. We have been making sure we make our new teachers feel very welcome.

J09 would love to share their beautiful learning they have been doing in Mathematics this Term. In Maths, students have been learning about 2D shapes. Students learnt that a shape is referred to as 2D when it only has two dimensions, width and length. 

Students also learnt about polygons and how to distinguish between what is and what isn’t a polygon. We then used our new learning to create animals out of shapes, which was so much fun!       

J09, you should be proud of your AMAZING start to Term 2! I very excited to share more incredible learning with you as the Term continues!
