Choirs
Junior Choir launches this term - we are excited to see our Year 1 and Year 2 Junior Choir members with our directors, Ms Ko and Ms Gregory.
Rehearsals will be held on Tuesdays at lunchtime, in the Echidna pod (B Block ground floor) after eating time. Choir members will be sent an email with all details.
All other choirs resume their regular rehearsals this coming week, Week 2.
Ensembles
All ensembles resume rehearsals this coming week. Some ensembles have launched already in this past week, and it is wonderful to hear music in the mornings and afternoons. We look forward to a vibrant term of rehearsals.
Intermediate Strings
We are delighted to resume Intermediate Strings this term! We have engaged a wonderful new director to join us in conducting the intermediate string ensemble. Thank you to the ensemble members for your patience.
Rehearsals resume Wednesday in Week 2, 7 May in the B Block Music Room before school.
External Music Learning Opportunities
The Department of Education Arts Unit offers wonderful opportunities for NSW government school students to participate in combined music ensembles with students from across the state. The Greater Western Sydney Public Schools instrument ensembles are open to students throughout the metropolitan region. Please note: the workshops take place on designated school days, and are at the family's cost.
Greater Western Sydney Public Schools Beginner Band

Greater Western Sydney Public Schools Concert Band
The Greater Western Sydney Public Schools Concert Band is an ensemble program opportunity which aims to extend the skills of musicians in Years 4 to 12 who attend NSW public schools. This program will take the form of 7 full-day workshops leading to external performances at festivals.
