Maths Olympiad

This term, selected excelling students from five/six have been taking part in the Maths Olympiad. The Maths Olympiad is a competitive mathematics competition designed to challenge and inspire students to think critically, logically, and creatively. It's not just about solving sums quickly—it's about applying reasoning, problem-solving, and deep understanding of concepts.

Maths Explorer

The Maths Explorer program allows selected students in Years 3 and 4 to collaborate with their peers and work together to make decisions about the way they explore a problem, regardless of their abilities.

Student selection is based on data analysis and triangulation across multiple assessment measures.

Cake Raffle - fundraising

In Terms 2 and 3, we are hosting a fundraising campaign to support the ongoing purchases of our class texts which are being used for our Unit Novel Studies in the Year 3-6 classes.

Families are asked to donate a cake (either purchased or home-baked) to be raffled on a Friday at assembly (commencing Week 4 - Friday 16th May). The lucky winner of the raffle will get to take the cake home to enjoy with their family over the weekend. Tickets will be available for purchase on a Thursday and Friday for 50cents each. The first one will be donated by the school to raffle off.

Please sign up here to put your name/class down to contribute.

We have purchased x6 different titles across the past 12 months which is nearly 1000 texts! To continue purchasing texts for Semester 2, we need to fundraise some funds. This will enable our students to access high-quality and curriculum based literature now and in future years.
