WORLD DAY FOR CULTURAL DIVERSITY - CLASS LUNCH

As a celebration of the many different cultures that make up our school community, next Wednesday May 21st, we will be celebrating World Day for Cultural Diversity.  Students are encouraged to wear their traditional clothing or colours and to bring along a plate of food that best represents their culture for a class lunch. Food will be shared with your child’s class at 1:00pm and must have all ingredients listed on it in case of any allergies. Your child may bring the food with them to school or alternatively you may drop it off at the front office prior to lunchtime, however, if it needs to be served heated please bring it in heated as the school does not have enough equipment to do so.

The day will have a various events as set out below:

  • 9:00 – 10:00am: Parade of costumes and performances on the basketball court and everyone is welcome
  • 12:00pm: Simultaneous Storytime, The Truck Cat
