Student Wellbeing

Supporting Student Wellbeing with LifeSkills Go program
This year, our school has continued its subscription to LifeSkills Go to support the delivery of our wellbeing curriculum. This is implemented whole school and every student completes the Emotion Check-In everyday. LifeSkills Go is an innovative learning platform that tracks, measures, and reports on students' social, emotional, and physical literacy through daily Emotion Check-Ins and targeted social and emotional learning sessions.
What Your Child Sees:
Here is an example of the Emotion Check-In page your child engages with each day:
Based on each student's daily check-in, teachers can better understand how students are feeling and whether they are ready to learn. This process helps students develop important self-regulation skills and sets them up for a successful day of learning. Teachers can also view student wellbeing data through individual reports.
What Teachers See:
Here is an example of the type of data teachers can access:
Teachers use this information to tailor their support, strengthen their relationships with students, and ensure that social and emotional development remains a key focus of our curriculum. By using LifeSkills Go, we are able to monitor student wellbeing over time, identify important trends, and provide timely support to every child — helping to build a stronger, more connected school community.

Breakfast Club Program
Courtenay Gardens Primary School is participating in the School Breakfast Club Program, a partnership between the Victoria Government and Foodbank Victoria to provide healthy and nutritious meals to students at school so that they can get the most out of their education.
Our school Breakfast Club runs every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning before school from 8:30am to 8:50am out of the canteen.
Volunteers are vital to running our School Breakfast Club. We are seeking volunteers to assist with setting up our breakfast space, preparing and serving breakfast, interacting with the students, and cleaning up. It is a wonderful opportunity to have a positive impact on the lives of our students and to connect with the local community in a warm and welcoming environment.
