A Beautiful Mother’s Day Brunch

This year’s Mother’s Day brunch at Melton Secondary College was a huge success. With a fantastic turnout, the event was filled with great vibes and a sense of community. The brunch brought together students, parents, and staff to celebrate the wonderful mothers in our lives. The room buzzed with laughter and conversations as everyone enjoyed a delicious spread and shared heartfelt moments. It was a perfect opportunity to show appreciation and connect as a school family.

The Role of Community Mentors: Empowering the Next Generation

Alongside the brunch, we’ve also been focusing on empowering our community mentors. These mentors have been attending training workshops designed to improve their skills in managing and supporting students. The training includes communication techniques, conflict resolution, and ways to create a positive learning environment. These efforts are helping mentors better connect with students and provide the guidance they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.

The brunch and mentor training are just two examples of the wonderful things happening at Melton Secondary College. Together, we are building a stronger, more supportive community where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
