Principal's Message

Dear Parents, 

I hope you all had a restful, refreshing break and enjoyed quality time with loved ones. It is wonderful to see our classrooms, hallways and playgrounds filled with energy and smiles once again.

As we step into the second half of the school year, Term 3 brings a renewed sense of focus and opportunity. Mid-year is the perfect time for reflection and growth. Over the coming weeks, our teachers will be working closely with students to reflect on progress, set intentional goals and build momentum.

A happy and successful term relies on the strength of our school partnership. Education thrives when students, families and staff work hand in hand. When we foster an environment built on kindness, open communication and mutual support, our students feel safe to take risks in their learning, aim higher and enjoy their school journey. We have an exciting term ahead filled with learning and connection.

PARENT TEACHER GOAL SETTING MEETINGS

Our Parent Teacher Goal Setting Meetings will take place during Weeks 3 and 4 this term. Each class will have a dedicated day for parents to meet with their child’s teachers to discuss individual learning goals for Semester 2, with students in Years 3 to 6 joining the conversation as active partners in their own learning. 

These meetings are compulsory, reflecting our strong commitment to working together with families, to support every student in achieving their personal best. Further details, including specific dates and booking information, will be shared via Compass.

NAPLAN RESULTS

Our NAPLAN results for Year 3 and Year 5 have been sent home with students this week. As a school, we are very proud of our overall results and deeply impressed by the learning growth demonstrated across both Year 3 and Year 5. 

Most importantly, we are proud of our students effort, persistence and commitment to achieving their personal best which has been evident throughout the year so far.
